For users running Premiere Pro 15.4, 22.0 or 22.1 Effective February 7, 2023, Speech to Text is no longer be supported on Premiere Pro 15.4, 22.0, and 22.1. ✍️ NOTE: Once the automatic captions are deleted for a video, you cannot turn them back on. Speech to Text in Premiere Pro is an integrated workflow that allows you to automatically generate a transcript of your sequence and create customizable captions for your videos. Play your video and transcribe it in the word processor. Place VLC media player and your word processor beside each other. ✍️ You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to delete the captions. Here’s how you transcribe your video: Open your video in VLC media player.For the language you’d like to delete, in the “Subtitles” column, select "Options" and then "Delete". ![]() To stop captions from showing on your video, you can delete them completely from your video and Google Account.
